Our comprehensive 16-week Hair Braiding Course is designed to fit your busy schedule, with classes held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Whether you’re looking to start a new career or add to your existing set of skills, this hands-on program offers expert instruction from a 40-year veteran in the industry! We are now enrolling for our first class starting September 29, 2025.
Scholarships may be available for eligible students.
The Hair Braid Course Includes:
- 16 weeks of of classroom instruction
- 10 weeks of hands-on experience in the salon with live customers
- Training in popular and specialty techniques, customer service, marketing, communication and etiquette, entrepreneurship and more!
Eligibility Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Successful completion of requirements of one-week Orientation to program.
- Pass background check
- 8th grade reading level
- Physical tolerance for standing and reaching with arms for a full workday.
