YouthBuild Mental Toughness Orientation

We are now enrolling for our next Mental Toughness Orientation for YouthBuild set to begin the week of November 18. This two-week program is Job Point’s prerequisite for enrollment in YouthBuild.
Job Point’s YouthBuild program helps empower young people ages 16-24 to reclaim their education, helping them earn their high school equivalency, learn a skilled trade, and develop powerful leadership, communication and life skills. Students have the opportunity to earn a stipend while they study for their HiSET exams, get hands-on experience building houses and serving their community.
Eligibility requirements:
- 1. Between the ages of 16 and 24 on the date of enrollment; AND
- 2. Member of a low-income family, a youth in foster care (including youth aging out of foster care), an offender, a youth who is an individual with a disability, a child of an incarcerated parent, a homeless youth, or a migrant youth; AND
- 3. School dropout, or an individual who was a school dropout and has subsequently re-enrolled
